Fenix Outdoor is recruiting highly skilled and eager young professionals for the 2015 US Management Trainee Program. The program offers a chance for top young graduates with or without limited work experience to grow personally and professionally to become a leader in the outdoor industry. This challenging trainee program combines practical and theoretical work in a variety of fields during a period of 18 to 24 months at our offices around the world and is adapted to individual development and corporate needs. The US Management Trainee program will start summer 2015 and the application period is from March 1st to March 31st.

PROGRAM OFFERINGS
We are searching for two candidates who want to pursue a career in supply chain management/operations and retail management. The programs will be adapted to the individuals and corporate needs, yet structured to ensure complete exposure to gain a versatile understanding of Fenix Outdoor.

Supply Chain Management Trainee
– Orientation rotation: travel period to see the global operations, visit international offices, and brand headquarters.
– Project rotation: assist and/or lead operationally focused projects for the group’s brands and sales companies.
– 3 month rotation at Fenix Outdoor HQ (optional).

Retail Management Trainee 
– Orientation rotation: travel period to see the global operations, visit international offices, and brand headquarters.
– Project rotation: assist and/or lead retail focused projects for the group’s brands and sales companies.
– 3 month rotation at Fenix Outdoor HQ (optional).

 

QUALIFICATIONS
A master’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Operations or Business with retail focus and experience is highly appreciated. Fluency in English is a prerequisite and good knowledge in another main corporate language (Swedish, German, or Chinese) is an asset. All applicants should have strong academic qualifications. The candidate should be eligible to work in the US.

The candidate should have developed analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as have the ability to build good relations and networks. We are looking for passionate individuals who are hard workers, quick learners, self-starters and team-players.

The program requires a lot of travel and you need to be open-minded and extremely flexible.
